Lily Gladstone e Kali Reis são as 1ªs atrizes indígenas indicadas ao Emmy
Ambas estão concorrendo ao título de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Série Limitada; confira todos os indicados
O Emmy 2024, principal premiação da televisão americana, anunciou os indicados na última quarta-feira (17). A cerimônia, que acontece em 15 de setembro, em Los Angeles, premiará os programas lançados entre junho de 2023 e maio deste ano. Esta edição, porém, será histórica – pela primeira vez, duas mulheres indígenas conquistaram espaço na categoria de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Série Limitada.
A atriz Lily Gladstone interpreta uma policial em “Under the Bridge”, drama que conta a história baseada no caso real do desaparecimento da adolescente Reena Virk, que foi a uma festa com amigos e nunca voltou para casa. Já Kali Reis é uma detetive astuta na quarta temporada de “True Detective: night country”. Ambas disputam o prêmio com as atrizes Dakota Fanning (por “Ripley”), Jessica Gunning (por “Bebê Rena”), Aja Naomi King (por “Uma Questão de Química”), Diane Lane (por “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”) e Nava Mau (por “Bebê Rena”).
Outro nome que marca presença na premiação é Sofía Vergara, que se tornou a primeira atriz latina a conquistar uma indicação na categoria Melhor Atriz em Série Limitada. Ela concorre por seu trabalho na série “Griselda”, da Netflix, junto com as atrizes Jodie Foster (por “True Detective“), Brie Larson (por “Uma Questão de Química”), Juno Temple (por “Fargo”) e Naomi Watts (por “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”).
A série “The Bear”, que acaba de ter a terceira temporada lançada no Brasil, bateu o recorde de indicações, com 23 no total. Entre os dramas, com 25 indicações, a líder foi “Xógum”. O destaque das minisséries é “True Detective: Night Country”, com 19 indicações.
